Our Last Review on Tripadvisor...
My review is long overdue as my husband and I visited in September. All I can say is WOW! Hotel le Fontanelle was definitely one of the high points of our trip and we are definitely coming back in the next few years. Everyone who worked at the hotel was so accomodating and polite. The food was excellent although I highly recommend taking their complimentary Vespa around the Chianti region and visiting the local wineries and stopping for lunch. Our only regret was not staying long enough. We would have skipped out on Venice and stayed longer in Sienna if we had known in advance.

Una villa che sembra il set di Bertolucci
L'autore ci dice che questo hotel a 5 stelle è un'"oasi" di puro relax, fra le colline del Chianti. Si può rimanere sdraiati ai bordi della piscina o guardare le stelle dalla terrazza Belvedere, gustare le "prelibatezze toscane al ristorante della villa: "La Colonna".La posizione è strategica: tra Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano e Monteriggioni, vi è anche una navetta gratuita per il centro storico di Siena. La vera "pausa " di piacere si avrà grazie alle piscine interne ed esterne, all'idromassaggio, alla sauna e al bagno turco.

“Amazing!!!!”
We spent part of our honeymoon at Le Fontanelle and we could not have thought of a better place to start our life as a couple. The surroundings are idillyc, the facilities are perfect (brend new, chic and luxurious, but not ostensive), and the staff of the hotel was the best I have ever seen in my life. From preparing us a cheese set to booking and organizing a wine tour for us in Montalcino, the staff was brilliant. I will definetely try to come back!
